I'm looking to know if I can change the names of some models, such as: Victory_Destroyer for Aphofis_Mothership.

Can i do that?
It's only for me. I do not intend to share these changes (Only if you'll allow me XD).

It's just that so would be much easier to know which is which. ñ_ñ

Of course you can change anything for this mod for private issues. How should anyone check?

If you take a lokk at the spaceunits***.xml you can se a quote with the name of the stargate ship above the replaced ship.
(i.e. )

-> Häufig gestellte Fragen (FAQ deutsch)
-> Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ English)
-> Modding Tool Collection

that's just what I wanted but, does nothing hapen? if I change the original name for the name of stargate name. i said that because some ships have the names of stragate like BC-304_MK2 or some Hero Units.

such as:


<SpaceUnit Name="Broadside_Class_Cruiser">
<Text_ID>TEXT_UNIT_PYRAMID</Text_ID>

I look change for this.

Actually I'm not sure what you want to change.
Changing the SpaceUnitName won't change anything ingame, it is just the class name for the file.
You need to change the masterfile_english.dat in your text folder if you want to change the names (google).

Everything that looks like this  is just a comment.
When you see <SpaceUnit Name="Broadside_Class_Cruiser"> the unit is just replaced but thats no problem
