Hi guys,
I got SW:EAW Gold Edition, and I can't seem to open the mod. I'm 100% sure I installed everything right (I've done it many times before), but ever since I switched to the Gold Edition, my mod just doesn't start. When I click on Stargate.bat, the regular Star Wars game starts instead. It's really annoying, can anyone help? I've already re-installed 4 times, tried compatibility as well. When I try to run as admin, nothing happens at all.

Hello lhminnie,

first thing we can tell you is that this isn't caused by the Gold Pack which works fine with any mod.
If the vanilla game starts instead of the mod it is surely a problem with the installation path of the mod.

Note that "Stargate: Empire at War 1.X" is for Empire at War (and not the Addon) and should be installed in
...\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\Mods\Stargate
whereas the latest version of the mod ("The Pegasus Chronicles") is for the addon Forces of Corruption and should be installed in
...\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Mods\Stargate.

The Stargate folder of TPC should contain a folder named "Data" that should have a size of 1,66 GB (1.783.825.004 Bytes) for the 1.0 and if you have Patch 1.1 installed it should be 1,91 GB (2.062.250.402 Bytes).

I really don't know what's wrong with it anymore, because I have previously installed mod 1.3 many times. I just lost my original SW EaW disk, and got a new laptop, so I decided to buy the Gold Version and re-installed the mode like I did many times before. But it still doesn't work.

EDIT: I'm talking about the Empire at War version, my TPC works fine.

Fairly sure that it's a pathing issue nonetheless.
Can you verify this path:
...\Steam\steamapps\common\star wars empire at war\GameData\Mods\Stargate\DATA\ART\Maps\_LAND_PLANET_ABYDOS_02.ted ?
