I think an easy fix for the hive ships would be slightly less defined edges, and brighter windows on those semi-circular things on the bottom. I would suggest putting in that metal looking part on the sides of the hive ships(that Col. Sheppard attached his F-302 to) but that would probably be way to hard to do(even for you guys). For the cruisers, I think less defined edges, and smaller yellow windows instead of those big white ones would really make them look real.
This isn't part of the skin asthetic design, but maybe give the hive ships less weapons emplacements, but way more powerful ones. I think eliminating the anti-fighter guns from the hive ships and cruisers would be ok too because the hive ships launch darts to intercept enemy fighter squadrons.They never shoot at them with their main weapons. Would it be possible to make the hive ships (especially carrier hives) able to launch their darts faster, maybe 1 or 2 squadrons per second?
The problem with our suggestions is that they cost us more Polygons for every hive.
And more polys=less performenc
But if Merlin found some time and if he think he must re-work this ships he would do it^^
Eleminate the antifighter-weapons of the wraith ships is an good idea because they give the darts more importance.

I never thought about the less performance aspect of adding more polygons. Would turning down the graphics level in-game effect the polygon level at all? Does adding smaller windows also add polygons? Because just doing that would make a HUGE difference (at least in my opinion)
