Part1:make the gate repairable
Part2:have the gate take constant damage(enough so that part3 can take place)
Part3:repair the gate, this should (with the help of part2 take away your resourses while keeping the gate
operational and make it seem like the gate isnt taking any damage at all
Part4:make sure u dont have enough mines to keep increasing ur naquadah even tho u r repairing so that when u run out of naquadah it stops repairing so that the health of the gate starts to decrease and eventually get destroyed then when it respawns u can connect to a diff galaxy and start the process over again

@K3NK0275: i don't like the idea of a "ressource-needing" Stargate at all, so no chance, as long as i am the lead here
@GenHornet18: that's not true! Someone simply copied the AI codes of the playable races and called his release "AI for non-playable races" or something like this, but the result was disastrous! Till today, there is simply NO mod with more than 3 playable races, that all uses a complete AI!
If i'm wrong, then show me the mod please...
1)Whats wrong with the supergate needing resources? At least make the gate cancellable. Just by adding this, you open up so many fleet combinations allowing for more advanced tactics.
2) Sci-Fi at War has 4 factions and once V1 is done, Spino will be adding more.
As I said it wasn't great but functional, I do remember now though that the random events never worked in FOC, nevertheless it doesn't matter now i checked the site the link was removed awhile ago. Best of luck with programming a new Ai

i don't like it, that's all! Anyway, we will not convert the Supergate system 1 by 1 from the Final 1.1. It will be completely different. At least you will be able to attack the energy crystal, so you can close it by destroying its energy source.
And yes, many mods have added more than 3 factions, but none has a working AI for the fourth one!
